About the Artist

Martha Dunham has a Ph.D. in biology and now pursues a career in the arts. Born in upstate New York, she has moved frequently, including overseas. Her work communicates emotional messages emphasized by their tactile nature.

My work is influenced by organic forms and relationships. I believe that time is the true currency of life. Beauty and grace are lost in a moment, leaving a fading inadequate memory and a frustrated desire for permanence. I design my sculptures to capture that moment of motion, and to reflect the growth and change that is the essence of life. To contact me or send me encouragement click here
