AirPort Express

Just got my AirPort Express, which I wanted both to give a stronger signal downstairs, and to play my digital music on the downstairs stereo.

At first, I had trouble setting things up so that the Express could do both -- I wanted it to do both WDS and AirTunes. It seemed that I could do one or the other but not both. Finally, I did manage to configure my AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express correctly, so both had the same settings (a private network with MAC access control), and then everything worked. Unfortunately, the automatic WDS configuration didn't (though this might be because of my security settings).

Anyway, it's way cool to be surfing wirelessly (indeed with a better signal), while playing music from iTunes. I think this is worth the speed decrease from WDS (since even at half speed, it's faster than my Internet connection).
